I know there was a general consensus that soulless!Sam in s6 was stupid and awful, but (and this might just be because I didn't watch s6 until a few months ago) I'm actually totally into it. Lots of SPN and Sherlock in this one. Probably because Serge Ladouceur and Paul McGuigan are goddamn geniuses. Anyway. This is probably only of any interest at all to me, but it's a collection of good songs that I really like, so. Shrug!

1. My favourite part of working on a mix might be the first time I get it up on my ipod and I haven't quite memorized what all the songs are or the current order and it's a delightful surprise every few minutes. Because it's a fucking amazing piece, I'm sharing ahead of actually finishing the mix. I was blessed to see Buddy Wakefield perform this at Poetry Apocalypse in Seattle in April. Almost (almost) outshone Tara Hardy's performances. Completely blew me away.
